Take 10

10 mins of yummy playful movement for 10 days in a row

a free community care offering

June 11-20th 2025

Intentions for this 10 day quest

The only goals for this movement practice are…

  • to move & be with our bodies for at least 10 minutes, 10 days in a row

  • to get curious — gather information (be compassionate towards what you find)

  • to find what feels good — stay within the bounds of what is pleasurable, permission to repeat or mine what is feeling yummy

  • to practice radical discernment ~ do the moves how YOU like to do them

  • to allow movement to be a way to communicate with your body, rather than a way to try to change your body

  • Play! Be silly. Fuck around and find out. Wax whimsical. Giggle & grin. There is too much serious so let's have a bit of fun, shall we?

You are welcome to add your own intentions!

Let’s exit the hamster wheel of fixing, body checking, and striving.

You’ll walk away from this 10 day quest with:

  • deeper trust in your body and more ways to listen to the body’s nudges & desires

  • the confidence to try new movements and know that you can adapt them to meet YOUR BODY, rather than forcing your body to meet the movement

  • a hype-squad who will shower you with encouragement as you grapple with existing in a body and returning to joyful movement amidst the onslaught of toxic fitness garbage & diet culture nonsense

  • A new appreciation of your body’s uniqueness

  • A deep trust that all bodies are good bodies (including yours)

  • A devotion to discernment - where are those “shoulds” about movement coming from? What systems of oppression are they rooted in?

  • A revolutionary fire in your belly

  • A fun radical self love practice you can keep for the rest of your life

Joining this quest could look like…

  • I’ll lead us through 10 minutes of movement invitations each day LIVE on zoom and IG live simultaneously. Tune in wherever it works best for you!

Lives will be held: June 11-20, at 10am Pacific

  • go for a walk, do some stretches, roll around in your bed… the options are endless!

(If it would feel good to report back to the squad so we can celebrate you, please share what you got up to with your 10!)

  • There will be recordings posted here (keep scrolling) so you can tune in and move with use even if the live doesn’t line up for your schedule.

  • Permission to join “late”! What IS time anyway???

I recommend adding a recurring calendar event for 10x from the day you begin.

You can play calendar tetris as needed — you don’t have to Take your 10 at the same time every day.

Need to time travel back to practice with us?

We got you.

Meet Hannah

Hannah (she/they) is a body liberation coach and gender-expansive witch committed to supporting folks who feel left out of, or harmed by, mainstream fitness offerings.

Hannah loves to work with folks who believe they aren't able-bodied enough to participate in even the “beginner” offerings out there, folks who are trans or non-binary and desire a non-gendered approach to movement, cis-men who are over "bro fitness culture,” and women who have had it with patriarchal beauty standards.

Hannah supports their clients to trust themselves and their own bodies, and discover a plethora of ways to MOVE that feel supportive to their wellbeing. Re-claiming movement as a way to help us regulate our nervous systems, put self-love into practice, and cultivate an internal feeling of power & strength is their JAM.

Hannah delights in unraveling the stories and societal expectations of what exercise "should" be, and restoring our access to movement in all the ways in can truly nourish the body and soul.
